Message from the Headteacher

At Colehill First School we believe that children’s first experiences of school are really important because they lay down the foundations for everything that follows. We want all children at our school to feel positive about learning, so that they can continue to learn effectively right through into adulthood and enjoy happy, fulfilling and productive lives.

Our aim is to provide the highest possible quality of education for all our children, enabling them to realise their individual abilities, talents, skills and personal qualities. We pride ourselves on our warm, caring ethos, within which all children can feel happy, safe, engaged and enabled to learn.

Without doubt, the best education is achieved when there is a strong partnership between home and school. We have an ‘open school’ policy and welcome parents into our school community. We also strive to work in partnership with the wider community to enhance the education of all children here.
